COVID-19 Update
With the newest update from the State Department of Education, the Bixby Outreach Center will begin operating as an emergency food pantry. To keep volunteers, staff, and those we serve safe, we have transitioned to a drive up food distribution center. Volunteers will directly place food into your trunk to help minimize risk and exposure.
We will be open Monday from 3pm to 6pm and Tuesday & Wednesday from 10am to 2pm for pre-packed grab & go services (no appointment necessary). Appointments and special requests will be Thursdays from 10am to 3pm. Call 918-366-9226 to make a same day appointment. We will take your food order over the phone (based on what we have available).
For seniors who are unable to come pick up food, please call 918-366-9225 to make arrangements. We have volunteers ready to drop off food directly to you.
Due to the closure of the Jenks Food Bank, we will now be serving those living in the Jenks Public Schools zone.
We are working with the schools in our service area to make sure their families are taken care of during this time. Please keep checking our website, bixbyoutreach.org as well as our Facebook. Bixby Community Alliance, Bixby Public Schools, and other local school districts will be sharing updates as well.
We ask that you are patient with us as we begin this process. We are always striving to make sure that we are doing the next best right thing for those we serve. Our ultimate goal is to make sure that no one in our community goes without food during this time. If you have any questions, please call us at 918-366-9226 or email Missy Brumley at missy.brumley@bixbyoc.org.
