First Congressional District Non-Profit in the Spotlight Award

Congressman Jim Bridenstine presented the BOC with the “First Congressional District Non-Profit in the Spotlight” award. Thank you all that came out.  We are thrilled and grateful to all that made this possible.

The “First Congressional District Non-Profit in the Spotlight” award was created in 2013 by Congressman Jim Bridenstine in an effort to highlight and raise awareness of local non-profits, their mission, and the people leading their efforts in the community. It is the hope of Congressman Bridenstine that by highlighting the tremendous work of these organizations, more First District constituents will be alerted to the assistance that is available to them and be better equipped to utilize these valuable services if necessary. Recipients of the award are selected based on constituent recommendations and stories of service that are communicated to the First District congressional office.
