In a world that is constantly changing, it is comforting to know there is always a hand willing to reach out to help others in times of crisis.
We are here to help families who are dealing with difficult life circumstances by assisting with food every 30 days. We also have holiday food distribution, backpacks, and a Christmas gift shop for families with children. Bixby Outreach wants to be the “Hand Up”!

Our Services
Food Pantry
Our food pantry provides a monthly distribution of groceries to local families in Bixby, Haskell, Kiefer, Leonard, Liberty, Mounds, and Beggs. We receive food through donations as well as the USDA food program. Historically, the BOC provides enough food for a family to have three meals a day for three to five days.
Guest Select Shopping
The guest choice-model allows pantry guests to select culturally appropriate foods, meet individual health and dietary needs and select foods that are familiar and enjoyed just as they would in a grocery store. Guests are allowed to shop for food every 30 days by appointment.
Break Bags
When school is not in session, each school-aged child can get a Break Bag every week. Our goal with this program is to provide food for children who typically receive free or reduced meals at school so that no child must go hungry during school breaks.
Seasonal Services
In addition to our regular pantry, we provide groceries for Thanksgiving and Christmas meals. The BOC collaborates with the Bixby Police Department and Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office to host an annual Back-to-School Bash, providing school supplies, physicals, haircuts, and more.
Home Delivery
For homebound clients who are unable to come to the BOC to receive monthly food assistance, we provide monthly food delivery. We also provide these services to local seniors in assisted-living facilities.
School Supplies
Every August, we partner with the Bixby Police Department and Tulsa Sheriff’s Office to throw a Back to School Bash. At this event, students can receive a backpack, school supplies, haircuts, physicals, entertainment, and more.
Financial Assistance
Our financial assistance program is a one-time service to assist clients experiencing extenuating circumstances such as higher-than-normal utility bills, unexpected expenses, etc. Applicants must live in our service area (Bixby, Haskell, Kiefer, Leonard, Liberty, Mounds, & Beggs). Assistance is very limited and not guaranteed.
